The Barbell Blueprint

Learn to lift safely & effectively

 If you're not sure about committing to personal training, then a short course might be just the ticket to get you started.


The barbell blueprint is a 5-session course designed to:


  • Teach you 5 main lifts using the barbell
  • Cover the main functional movement pattens for everyday life
  • Have a clear outcome of learning to lift safely and effectively
  • Work within your current abilities (even if you've never lifted)
  • Provide warm up exercises that are tailored for each lift
  • Provide additional options using dumbbells for greater knowledge & versatility
  • Teach you about repetition and set ranges for your training goals
  • Expand your training horizons if you're currently just using machines
  • Give you the confidence to feel like you belong in the squat racks... because everyone belongs there!

Course pricing

Your course package

The barbell blueprint course costs £195. 


It is recommended to have at least a day's rest in between sessions, so the quickest the course could be completed is 10 days. However, it could also be done as one session a week for 5 weeks. That's up to you!


The pricing covers:

  • An in-person consultation to discuss your goals and current exercise regime
  • 5 x 45 minute in-person coached sessions
  • A detailed take-away presentation covering the main lift cues, the weights you lifted, the warm ups we did, and a list of the accessory dumbbell exercises for reference.


You will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire before we start.
